Locating the scanner.
The LandMap Scanner should be in your LandMap folder.

If you can not locate the folder, type 'landmap' into the search bar on top of your inventory.

The scnaner should be called 'JVTEK LandMap 2.0 - Scanner'
Rezing the scanner.
Once the scanner is located you can rez the scanner by dragging it from your inventory to the ground in front of you.

Repeat as needed.
If you need an area larger than 32x32 you can use multiple scanners. They will link together automatically for you.

You can also copy existing scan areas by holding down the [shift] key while moving the scanner.
